Reservation Form for Limited Computer Use:
Due to the current public health crisis caused by COVID-19, the Oviatt Library will be closed to the public with the exception of one computer lab for students who do not have computer access to complete their online coursework. As of 5pm Monday, March 30, 2020, student access to our computer lab and laptop checkouts is also closed.
This lab is limited to 10 computer stations to ensure the six-foot social distancing rule set in place by the CDC and will have a limit of 3-hour reservations per day. There will be no printing available inside this computer lab and no computer support to ensure social distancing is met. For a list of software available on these computers please review the Core PC Software List (PDF).
A limited number of laptop computers are available for checkout to students in need. To check-out a device please call the Oviatt Library at (818) 677-2595. The following software is available on the following Library devices.
PLESE NOTE: The library's front doors will be locked and you will not be able to enter the lab through this entrance. The computer lab entrance is located on the West side of the library (adjacent to Bayramian Hall) at the emergency exit glass door.
Once you have your computer reservation, please wait at the lab entrance door for the library employee to let you inside. Six-foot social distancing should be maintained when entering. A restroom, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes will be available, which we encourage you to use for your own and the safety of others.
Maximum occupancy limits and other library policies must be adhered to or reservation privileges may be lost.
IMPORTANT: Lab C PC stations are NOT group study rooms and you will be inside a lab with other students while maintaining a six-foot distance between computer stations.
