Library Student Only Study Space and Computer Lab
The CSUN University Library is pleased to provide limited individual study space and computer/printing access on the Library’s main floor only to current CSUN students while the Library otherwise remains closed. Students must have either a study seat or computer station reserved or Reserve Book requested in order to enter the Library.
Once you have your reservation, please wait at the Library's front entrance until an employee checks your reservation confirmation email and lets you inside. Wearing a mask and six-foot social distancing must be maintained when waiting to enter and while inside the Library. Restrooms, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes will be available to each user. Please clean your station before and after use for your own and the safety of others.
Currently, all water fountains and dispensers are turned off on campus and food services are closed. No food or open drink containers are allowed inside the Library since they involve removal of one's mask. An exception is made for water bottles that allow a quck sip without complete removal of one's mask.
Noise level for study spaces: Quiet (if needing to speak while inside the library, please let the front desk know so they can change seating arrangements as needed)
Both Black & White and Color priniting will be available to students reserving a computer station. For a list of software available on the eleven PC and two Mac computer stations please review the Core PC Software List (PDF) or Core Mac Software List (PDF). Respondus LockDown Browser is NOT available on any Library computer station.
