A Beginner's Guide to Sewing In-Person

Always wanted to sew but have no idea where to start? This in-person workshop will cover the basics of operating a sewing machine where you will learn the various techniques and tricks to start your sewing project. Participants will get to see the CMS Brother CS7000i machine set up and operation that includes how to thread the needle/bobbin, change the presser foot, adjust tension settings, and understand basic stitches and their uses. We will identify important machine components and go over common troubleshooting techniques that will prepare you for your next project. Learn to make a simple pouch during our sewing demo. Please note that this is a presentation-focused workshop and sewing machines will not be made available to every participant.
