App UX/UI Design Workshop (App Jam) Online
The Creative Maker Studio is excited to offer a UX/UI app design workshop for App Jam competitors. In this workshop, participants will learn the core values of app functionality (UX) and graphic design (UI). Learn how to design your app for the company, brand, and target audience by integrating logos, color pallets, typography, and other brand identity elements to create a one of a kind user experience. Brainstorm what content and features to include based on user demand/need. Sketch a wireframe flow chart to map out the app navigation and buttons. Finally, bring your ideas together using Adobe XD and learn how to create a mockup app concept to showcase your work! Bonus: Learn easy button commands to make your app come alive and give your project an instant boost!

If you would like to follow along during the workshop and don't have access to Adobe XD, we recommend submitting an Adobe Creative Cloud License Request to CSUN IT to get set up with an Adobe CC License. Requests can take up to 2 business days to process so please plan ahead and submit a request in advance. Once you get an Adobe CC license, you can access the program on the Multimedia Windows Stations (LIB-WW-007 to LIB-WW-012) in the University Library's West Wing.
