Have you ever wanted to record a podcast, vocals, or make music but didn't have the space, software, or equipment to do so? Well, here at the CMS Audio Recording Room, you can! This recording studio is located on-site inside the CMS and has an audio interface, an iMac, three condenser microphones, and several audio editing softwares. Whether you're an expert or a beginner, this is the perfect place to create! We encourage you to join this virtual workshop where you will be shown how to set up and use the studio equipment. You will also be shown how to record, edit, and export on the available DAWs, as well as save your project file for your next reservation.

If you would like to follow along during the workshop and don't have access to Pro Tools or Logic Pro, you can access the Pro Tools on the Multimedia Windows Stations (LIB-WW-007 to LIB-WW-012) in the University Library's West Wing. Both programs are also available on the iMac computer inside the Creative Maker Studio's Audio Recording Room.
