The CSUN University Library is pleased to provide Individual Study Rooms to current CSUN students. 

Reservation Details

*Please note during Summer hours Individual Study Rooms are on a first come first served basis. 

Individual study rooms are available and dedicated for use by CSUN students for individual study only.

These rooms are available to reserve up to 2 days in advance, while the library is open. Please see the Library's hours for details. 

Students may reserve up to a maximum of one room per day for a 2-hour time block, up to seven days per week. Reservations must be confirmed by email within 30 minutes of making the reservation. By confirming the reservation, students agree that the individual study rooms will be used by one CSUN student. Students are highly encouraged to bring a (print or digital) copy of their confirmation as proof of reservation.

If you do not show up within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time, your reservation may be cancelled.

Noise level for study spaces must remain reasonable as to not disturb other library users. 

Posters, notes, and other items may not be hung on walls or windows. Windows are not to be covered or obstructed. Lights must remain on at all times. Maximum occupancy limits must be adhered to or study room privileges may be lost. 

Failure to comply with established policies may result in suspension of study room privileges and/or other library privileges.

Graduate Study Rooms and  Assistive Technology Rooms are NOT included in this reservation form. Go to the Guest Services Checkout Desk in the lobby for access to these rooms. 

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health situation the Oviatt Library Building will be closed starting Thursday March 19. More about the closure.
